Current Scope of Practice
Ms. Yaghobi is a member of the firm’s workers’ compensation practice area, primarily defending insurance companies, third party administrators and employers in all aspects of Workplace Injury defense, including 132(a) Labor Code claims and Serious and Willful Allegations. Given her extensive experience in workers’ compensation, Ms. Yaghobi has the ability to analyze and investigate medical history and records, using her experience and astute perception to ferret out pre-existing and related conditions affecting workers’ compensation claims.
Ms. Yaghobi regularly appears before most of the boards in Southern California, and handles all aspects of workers compensation, including conducting discovery and litigation, including trial. Ms. Yaghobi also handles overlapping issues involved in civil litigation and subrogation, and counsels clients in matters related to human resource issues and lawsuit prevention, as well as coverage issues at Workers' Compensation Board for carriers/administrators wrongly joined in the forum.

Ms. Yaghobi has organized and conducted presentations and workshops to public sector employers and managers on current developments in workers’ compensation and handling employee injuries.

Ms. Yaghobi is a member of the American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Southern California Workers Compensation Defense Lawyers Association, and Workers Compensation Claims Association.
Ms. Yaghobi earned her B.S. from University of California, Irvine. She was granted her J.D. (2005) from Chapman University School of Law. Ms. Yaghobi is admitted to practice in California and before all courts and boards of the State of California.
